Couples Massage is available at both Asiatic studios on Upper Street. Our treatment spaces can be configured so two guests can receive their massage together.
Some rooms accommodate two treatment tables within one private space. At Highbury, some adjacent treatment rooms are connected by pocket doors, allowing them to open into a larger shared Couples Massage environment while each therapist continues to work individually with their guest.

What is a Couples Massage?
A Couples Massage allows two people to receive treatments at the same time in a shared treatment space, with each guest looked after by their own therapist.
Do we have to be a romantic couple?
No. Couples Massage isn’t only for romantic partners. Friends, family members and colleagues are all welcome to book together.
Are we treated in the same room?
Yes. Both guests are treated at the same time in a shared treatment space, each with their own therapist. At Asiatic Highbury, some adjoining treatment rooms are connected by pocket doors, which can open into a larger shared space while each therapist works individually with their guest.
Can we choose different massages?
Yes. You don’t have to choose the same treatment. One guest might choose Deep Tissue while the other prefers Aromatherapy or Traditional Thai. Back & Shoulder Massage is also available.
Can we choose different pressure levels?
Yes. Each guest chooses their own pressure, whether light, medium or firm. You can also tell your therapist which areas to focus on or avoid, and ask for adjustments at any time during the massage.
Can we choose different durations?
Couples Massage is available for 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Most couples choose the same duration so they start and finish together. If you’d like different lengths, please contact reception before booking and we’ll check what can be arranged.
How long should we book?
Choose 60 minutes for a focused shared treatment, 90 minutes for broader bodywork or more time around selected areas, or 120 minutes for a slower, unhurried full-body experience.
Is Couples Massage available at both studios?
Yes. Couples Massage is available at Asiatic Angel (93 Upper Street) and Asiatic Highbury (262 Upper Street). Both studios are on Upper Street, and you can choose whichever is more convenient.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes. Couples Massage is by appointment only, because two therapists and the right treatment space need to be available at the same time. Contact your preferred studio and reception will coordinate the therapists, treatment room and appointment time.
What should we wear?
Traditional Thai Massage is performed fully clothed, so wear something comfortable. For oil-based massages such as Aromatherapy or Deep Tissue, your therapist will explain what to do and use professional draping throughout.* Your privacy and comfort are respected throughout the appointment.

Yes. Couples Massage gift vouchers make a thoughtful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas or Valentine’s Day.
